Configuration Tool - Include/Exclude
The Include/Exclude tab allows you to control which areas of a virtual directory, site and web are indexed. This is useful if, for example, you have a large installation and you want to restrict the use of the Reminder Web Part to a particular area. If you have setup duplicate virtual servers using the 'Extend and Map to Another Virtual Server' it is important to manually exclude these virtual servers. You can use a wildcard character to exclude or include everything below a specific path. E.g. The following will exclude the URL http://extranetURL/mysite but include the URL http://intranet/mysitse Exclude the following URL's http://extranetURL/* |
